About Us

The Northumberland and Durham Caledonian Society is a vibrant community organization dedicated to celebrating Scottish culture through dance and social gatherings. We provide a welcoming space for individuals of all ages to learn traditional Scottish dancing, meet others who share an interest in Scottish heritage, and participate in our regular social events. Our society is not just about dance; it's about creating connections and fostering a love for Scottish traditions in our local community.

The Society meets on the first and third Monday of each month from September through March at the Britannia Airport Hotel near Newcastle Airport in Ponteland.
